hey, i just wanted to introduce myself seeing as i'm new here. =0) i just got engaged in april, just got my ring in july (my friend made it for us, isn't it pretty? it's my avatar), and now i just started planning. it's finally clicked that i'm getting married. anyways, we set our date for 9-8-07 and we're most likely paying for the wedding ourselves (unless his parents are gonna help out but haven't told us. it doesn't look that way though) so if you guys have any ideas for cost cutting, that'd be great. also, we're both artists so any off kilter, quirky suggestions are welcomed too. =0) alrighty then. i hope to get to know you all better. thanks ahead of time and good luck on your planning! =0)

Welcome and Congrats!! Your ring is beautiful!! My only advice is book you big vendors ASAP. You get a bigger selection this way. BARGIN BARGIN BARGIN. If you want it ask for it they will add alot of things in for you!!

Congratulations!!!! As far a cost cutting goes, if you pick a Friday or a Sunday you can save some money right there! You can also save money by having it in the off months! Good luck with your planning!!! XOXOXO Kitty

Welcome and Congratulations...You have come to the right place for ideas & helpful hints...to cut costs you can do alot of your 'Do It Yourself' (DIY) kind of things which is also nice because you can personalize your wedding that way...I love a lot of the DIY things but I don't have time on my side @ the moment ~ plus you guys being artists I am sure you will do great things!
