New law regarding limos...anyone heard?

My sister just told me that a girl she works with went to book limos and the person there told her that as of January 1, 2005 a new law goes into effect banning SUV type limos or limos that can hold a certain amount of people (18 maybe) or more. Apparently, he said that with that many people it is techinically considered a bus and would therefore need emergency exits/hatches, which they do not have.

This is the first I heard this but we have a 20-something passenger Hummer. I am going to call the limo company tomorrow and find out if this is true. That would suck Has anyone else heard this?
