New Orleans - Amy

Hi - Getting back to you about New Orleans. It was great. I`m sure I put on a pound or two with all the eating we did! The food was fabulous as was the music - blues, zydeco, dixieland type stuff. Plus the French Quarter was partying in the streets. We are not drinkers so we didn`t really go into the bars on Bourbon Street but we did go into a lot of places where there was music. The houses along St Charles Avenue are amazing and there are so many other things to do. If you do end up going, email me at [email protected] and I can share more of my experience with you now that I have seen the hotels, hot spots & locations. I don`t know when you are thinking of going but this was kind of the ideal time until later in the year. Next month they really get those April showers and then it just turns hot & steamy for the most part so I wouldnt recommend it for the summer months. Let me know if you want more info.
