I think it also matters how many people are you having. We are definitely not going all out with the extra things-just basic stuff but we have large families, so our biggest cost is the number of guests. We cut everywhere we could but it got pretty expensive with 300 guests!

my original budget was 15K
I think we will end up spending twice that!
I think I need to slow down and stop buying things I really don't need (do I really need three garters???)

Wow Im starting to think that we went too crazy - i gave myself a budget of $20k for the extra things alone - dress, tuxes, wedding bands, flowers, everything besides the RH because thats over 20k and my parents are paying for that.
so i'd say with HM and everything its going to be close to $55k

but i think it also depends on what time of year, number of ppl. if you want VH, seafood boat, if you do everythin everything then thats where they get you.
o well. you get marries once right ladies?

Voted! We're a little over budget because when we initially estimated- we forgot wedding rings (LOL), honeymoon & shuttle... It's a lot- but we feel fortunate that FH & I can do it- and pay for every penny ourselves!!

im a little over 30,000...its def more then i thought i was going to spend...i had NO idea how much everything costs and all of the little things that get added into it!
