New to chat May '07 Bride

Hi Ladies,

After reading posts, I decided to join this chat. This is the first time I've EVER joined a chat...so on top of planning a wedding, this is new to me too! I look forward to sharing ideas, stories, and getting great information on this site!

Is anyone else a teacher on this chat? I'm a little nervous about planning during the school year...I've had the summer off, and it's been great. I booked the hall, church, and photographer along with helping my mom with the engagement party (next weekend!). I'm wondering how I'll find time to plan once school starts.

First of all congrats Second I'm a teacher too. I tried to book most of my vendors during the summer because I know during the school year I'm way too busy during the week and on Saturdays I teach a math SAT prep class so Saturdays are out too. You still have time before school starts up again...try to do as much as you can now. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

Hi, Congradulations!! I am not a teacher, but I am also new to the whole chat thing. This site is great though, my wedding is in the fall, and I got so many ideas from here...I am soooo excited.

welcome!!!!! I am a teacher too and I just keep telling myself that things will get done...especially during the breaks and days off that we get Don't worry!

Hey, I'm a teacher too and I am nervous about having enough time to make the final touches on the wedding. I even have to work summer school and I have a second job teaching a Sylvan Learning Center so there goes my Saturdays. It's really hard and because of that I find myself not looking around and comparing places but just going with the first person if I like them. I know it will all turn out okay. In September I'm also going to be finishing up my masters. You just have to take it one step at a time everything will fall together the way it should!

WOW!!! Good Luck to you! I don't know if I could have planned my wedding while I was finishing my Masters....that thesis is a killer. Exactly what you said...take it one step at a time...and if you find yourself super stressed make sure to take a day for yourself.

Wow! Sounds like you have a busy year. YOu're right...one thing at a time, and congrats on the Masters...You'll feel such a sense of accomplishment when you're done. What grade to you teach?
