New to LIW!!

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am new to LIW! I booked my ceremony and reception at the Swan Club (in Glenwood Landing/Roslyn). I was looking at hotels nearby and none of them seem to offer shuttle service.

Ideally, I would like to find a hotel that offers free shuttle service as well as a space for rehearsal dinner the night before.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

The only hotel that I know of near by is Roslyn Claremont, they are pretty expensive though and I'm not sure if they have a free shuttle. If you call up the Swan Club I am sure they can give you recommendations.

My engagement actually happened a couple months ago on June 12th. I thought we were going out to celebrate our anniversary which is June 24th however we decided to celebrate our anniversary a couple weeks early because we had busy weekends throughout the month of June. We started in Times Square watching West Side Story and then he brought be to a spa to get a facial and a massage. Afterward, we went to Ocean Grill and had some delicious seafood. I thought we were going to head back home afterward but he wanted to stop by On the Ave Hotel on the upper westside to go to the rooftop bar to grab drinks before heading back. However, instead of going to the top floor, we got off at the 2nd to last floor and walked to the door of a penthouse suite.
When I opened the door, there were rose petals and candles everywhere which lead to the balcony. I followed the rose petals and candles out to the balcony, and there was champagne for two with strawberries. I was completely in awe and crying (because I was so happy). He got down on one knee and the rest is history! Best day of my life so far (until the BIG DAY!)
