New to site, need some help please!!

Hi fellow Brides, my name is Stephanie I'm new to the site, currently booked at Lark Field Manor. I'm getting the feeling we rushed in and booked to soon and first place we visited. I'm going to look into other places, does anyone have any quotes for thatched cottage, Somerley Room @ fox hollow, watermill. & swan club for Thurs. Friday or Sunday. I'd really appreciate any help please!!

Thanks
Stephanie

YAY another larkfield bride!!!

we were going to book at fox hollow that was our second choice, but are SO glad we didnt from what i have since heard! (also they wouldnt negotiate price even for november!)

the renovations look like they are gonna be AMAZING and i am so excited!!! they are SO great to work with (so far).

from what girls on here have been saying ,thatched cottage has gone up in price recently?

you have the 30 days to get entire deposit (?) or really more per suffolk law (minus i think $100)-- so it doesnt hurt to go look at the other places!

Did you already pay the deposit on the other venue? What does your contract say about deposits and cancelling? If it's non-refundable, are you prepared to lose whatever amount of money it is to book another venue?

they do 30 days (or until first tasting) refundable

it's also in suffolk county so there is a law that says you can get all but $100 (not sure exact #) back up until 6 months or so before the date.

Yes, if the vendor is located in Suffolk, you are entitled to be refunded all but $100 up until six months of the event.
