Hello All!!

My name is Elizabeth and I am new to Long Island Weddings. I have heard so much about this site and I am so excited to get to know all of you! I am planning a wedding in the fall of 2010 not sure of date yet. My fiancee travels a lot so I'm pretty much solo with this wedding stuff. I don't have a budget yet but I'm looking for a catering hall for 200 people with a huge dance floor..we love to party lol
Any suggestions?

check out sandcastle caterers. they do 1 wedding at a time! it looks much better in person!!!

i have to agree. funny enough, sandcastle didnt even make my first cut of places to check out cuz i thought it was cheesy-looking. lol. turns out when we found no other place we liked, and expanded our search, sandcastle blew us away

I heard about the Sandcastle but ive never been there before...is there really a boat in the cocktail room??!!!

There are a lot of places that can hold that many and have big dance floors. Can you give us any other requirements?

On or off the water?
A catering hall or like a mansion?
one wedding at a time?

I am bias, but Jericho Terrace can certainly hold that many and their dancefloors are pretty big too. Oh and the food... YUMMM!!!!

Thank You...I am def looking for a catering hall and one wedding at a time...but if I really like the hall.. ill make an exception...I've heard alot about Jericho Terrace so Im going to check it out!!
