My name is Elizabeth and I am new to Long Island Weddings. I have heard so much about this site and I am so excited to get to know all of you! I am planning a wedding in the fall of 2010 not sure of date yet. My fiancee travels a lot so I'm pretty much solo with this wedding stuff. I don't have a budget yet but I'm looking for a catering hall for 200 people with a huge dance floor..we love to party lol Any suggestions?

There are so many wonderful wedding venues on LI. Do you have any ideas on what you're looking for? Beach, lake, pool, garden, doesn't matter? Queens, Nassau or Suffolk? That can help narrow down your search. A helpful site for locations...which offers a map of venues is Weddingsitesandservices.com. You can visit venues in the same area to make good use of your time.

Hi Nina...I don't know exactly what kind of hall I'm looking but I want to stay in Nassau County and I will consider Suffolk County also...

Welcome to the site!! I booked with Jericho Terrace- I love it there! The hall is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the service has been nothing but the best. If you have time, I would definatly make an appointment to check them out!

There are a lot of places that can hold that many and have big dance floors. Can you give us any other requirements?
On or off the water? A catering hall or like a mansion? one wedding at a time?
I am bias, but Jericho Terrace can certainly hold that many and their dancefloors are pretty big too. Oh and the food... YUMMM!!!!
