Hi, I know I have been asking a lot of questions, but trying to pick a wedding date.
Has anyone been to or had a New Years Eve wedding? that way guests would have some time to unwind after the wedding because most have off on New Years. for those of you who have been to them, were they nice functions, and if you had or are planning one, does it shoot the price through the roof because of the holiday?

I love the idea!!! go for it!!!! It would be an easy way of making plans for new years without having to make the plans myself!!!

I of couse LOVE the idea of a NYE wedding!!!
The veondors are a little more $ b/c we do go into overtime....our wedding is 7pm-2am and then we have a jazz hour until 3am but my guests can stay ot Oheka and I also have a block of rooms at a nearby hotel...that gave me great rate.... and a bus to take them there

i like it but i dont at the same time (if that is possible! lol) i would like going if it was for my close firends or family
if it was just an acquaitance (like someone you work with, for example) i would kind of rather be with my freinds/family on NYE
