I am new!! I am getting married on June 13, 2003 (yes, it is Friday the 13th). A little about what I have done so far: So far I have:

Reception: North Ritz Club
Flowers: Wicks in Baldwin
DJ: Touch of Class - Joe Bova
Video: V&V Video in Queens
Photographer: We are using a family friend (hopefully he is good??)
Dress: Mori Lee - bought it from Bridesave.com for $200 and it is so beautiful!
Hair and Makeup: Maximus in Merrick
Limos: Royalty
Invites: I got checkerboard invites from Tietheknot.com - awesome site, just got them in the mail yesterday!!
Favors: silver heart wine stoppers from Beacoup.com
Honeymoon: Vegas and Cabo San Lucas

I think that is it...Still need tuxes and to find a calligrapher...

Any feedback on my vendors would be appreciated - I am from Rochester, NY, so I am not too familiar with LI....

I just went to a function at the North Ritz Club....and it was absolutely beautiful. Good luck & happy planning.

Hi y'all. I'm a newbie to this board and look forward to getting lots of Long Island specific help (I currently live in Virginia so the more LI help I can get, the better and more sane I'll be!)

We are getting married at the Land's End in Sayville on May 22, 2004. We have been engaged for almost a year now and are truly enjoying our leisurely wedding planning (who am I kidding - I am enjoying the leisurely wedding planning - my fiance has done nothing yet! argh....)
