Hi Everyone,

I just got engaged on Saturday and my feet still haven't touched the ground

I am so excited to be a part of LIW. You see my twin sister got married this May and was (still is) addicted to LIW. She got me addicted too but I just lurked because I felt funny not having a ring. Now I am official and so happy to be here. You guys are great and I know that I will learn a lot from you!

Here goes my first question: Do you think I'll have enough time to plan an August 05 wedding?

CONGRATS TO YOU!!! I think you will have more than enough time.

My FH and I got engaged on October 1, 2004 and this weekend we set our date for September 17, 2005. I am already wishing the day was here! It's alot to plan but if you have your mind set, you can do it!

Welcome to LIW! I got engaged last October and got married this August. You have plenty of time, just try to get some big vendors out of the way before the end of the year - hall, band/dj, photographer.

Welcome and Congrats! You definitely have enough time we got engaged in April 04 and decided in August to have our wedding in April 05. I must admit it has been hectic but so much fun planning.

defenitly.... you'd be my date twin!

I would just book the hall and ceremony location first. Then band/dj, florist and photographer right away.

Then you can spend time looking for the dress.

You might be a little rushed in the next month, but you can def. do it!

Congratulations! If you keep that date - we'll be date twins!!! I think you can do it - just need to book the major things first (hall/ceremony site/photo/music)

CONGRATS AND WELCOME. I THINK THAT YOU WILL HAVE TIME TO PLAN OF 8/05 WEDDING. JUST START BOOKING EVERYTHING NOW AND DONT WASTE ANY TIME AT ALL. HAVE FUN PLANNNING.
