Hi All, I am sooo happy I found this website, it's awesome, so many great suggestions . We are looking at Temple Israel, Garden City Hotel and Roslyn Claremont. I saw one of the girl's pics. who got married at Temple Israel , they are just beautiful. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on any of these places. I am curious about everything, food, views, ceremony etc.

The ballroom at the Roslyn Claremont is really beautiful! But I think it only holds 200, so for me it was out. I wasnt crazy about the cocktail hour room because it was very small. Also the bars are in the lobby not in the ballroom. The menu was great though.
I didnt look at the other ones.

Just start looking at places. You'll get a better idea when you start seeing places and comparing them. If you're looking at Temple Israel, I'd also recommend looking at the Sephardic Temple (Cedarhurst), Temple Avodah (O'side) and of course, my personal favorite, EMJC! They are all really, really beautiful.

Welcome and Congrats Out of all the three places, I love Garden City the most then Roslyn. I went to a wedding at Garden City in August 08 and OMG....It was amazing! Food was great and service was excellent.
One of my friend used to work for Roslyn and I went there with FH when we were searching for a RH. We thought that the price that they are charging for the amt of food we are getting wasn't so great. We weren't getting a lot of choices and the amt of food was less than what we are paying for the place we booked at. Also, the manager isn't friendly as he should be and he didn't want to negotiate anything with us. The only positive thing that I can tell you about Roslyn Claremont is they held one wedding at a time and the place is very elegant & nice.

CONGRATS! the only thing i can say is that the gch was awesome when i went to a wedding there around 2 yeas ago!!! like seriously beautiful!

Congrats, I stayed at the Garden City Hotel for a friends' wedding a few months ago, and thought it was beautiful, very elegant.

Bridgewaters is beautiful. i used to throw a lot of events there for my former company
Beautiful but difficult to get to if you have people coming for LI or NJ.

Its actually not that hard to get to - and there is a lot more parking over there than in some other parts of the city. I was seriously considering it (Bridgewaters) so let me know if you have any questions about it.
