newly engaged with ?s

Hey girls!! I just recently got engaged and want to start looking at venues. I would love our date to be Oct. 26, 2012. Im hoping for a beautiful place both inside and out with great food. I would love to stay under $115pp and don't want to travel too far. I live in central suffolk and would love to find a place in Suffolk County. Although I looked at Jericho Terrace online and loved the photos. So as long as it is not a hour away im willing to travel for my dream place.

I'm open and thankful for any suggestions!! Thank you ladies!!!

Def check out Bellport Country Club! Beautiful inside and out, and we are paying less than that for a sat night in June!

Welcome and congrats! I agree with the other girls I would check out East Wind and Georgio's. They are both very nice places.

congrats and welcome you can try Verdis of westbury where i am getting married their pricing is reasonable.

Lombardi's on the Sound
Windows on the Lake
Miller Place Inn
Giorgios
Chateau La Mer
Mediterranean Manor
East Wind

Thank you girls!! I actually called Giorgios today and have an appt. for next week. I also called Lombardi's on the Bay and ,ade an appt. They did say there room only holds 170, and i'm a little nervous about that since I figure we will have about 150 yes' I dont want to feel stuffed in a room! I also called Flower Fields and she told me for a Friday night it is $130pp without tax and grat. Good grief!!! That's a lot I thought! I think I am also going to look at Captain Bill's in Bayshore I heard their food is great... does anyone have any insight on them?? I have never been. Also does anyone know the price range for Jericho Terrace for a Friday night?? and what about their food also??

I just recently booked Larkfield Manor for a sat night in sept 2010...their prices were super reasonable (FM me if you want details)

Engagement party is at Chateau La Mer, and they seem reasonable as well.

I'm booked with JT for a friday in May and was quoted within your price range. JT is gorgeous and I can't wait to have my wedding there. Definently check them out. Westbury Manor seems to be within your price range as well if your looking for a garden type venue. Good Luck.

In Suffolk, I definitely recommend Giorgio's and Bellport Country Club! *Loved* Bellport but it was too small for us, too bad because it was beautiful and very decently priced and I know the food is amazing. Plus they offer a tasting before you sign!

I'm getting married at the medditeranian Manor.. the website is www.medmanor.com I'd reccomend them to anyone.. great food and good prices..

Definately check out Larkfield Manor in East Northport...their staff is great, food is amazing and the prices are so reasonable!

Hey girls! thanks so much for all the responses!! Tom. I go to look at Giorgios! AHHHH!!!! I'm so excited!!! It is the first venue we are looking at!! I am also going to look at Captain Bill's and Lombardi's on the Bay on Thursday! We are gonna call Bellport Country Club and set up an appointment with them too. I'm so excited!!!
