since we are bumping our wedding up... my next is to book the church. get invitations OUT and then get a dress.

am i doing the right thing???

The first weekend in June I have a date with my MOH, we will be doing the following

1. get my very first ever brazillion! lol this kIND OF relates to the wedding

2. Going to get shoes

3. ordering favors/invitations/placecards etc.

4. getting the materials to make my table numbers and to set up the table where i want our families wedding pictures etc. and hopefully starting that project!

JUNE:
hair and makeup trial
my dress may come in! can you believe it?

do you have your hall booked before officiant? are you planning to have the ceremony in a church? Be careful, sometimes its hard with short notice to get the exact time and date with a church!! We booked 18months in advance and couldnt get our first choice for date!

I can't wait to finally get these things booked and out of the way. I am excited because FH comes home on Sat. and on Sun, Mon and Tues. I have appts. to go check out halls!!! HAHA FH is going to kill me!

But I want to get them all booked and not wait until the last week FH is home and not have these 4 things done. These 4 things are the most important to me to have FH's definite decision on...so I need to do these 4 within the month of June!!

CAN IT HAPPEN?????

The only major vendor we need is photo/video. I will probably be buying my gown within the next two weeks as well!! YAY!

do you have your hall booked before officiant? are you planning to have the ceremony in a church? Be careful, sometimes its hard with short notice to get the exact time and date with a church!! We booked 18months in advance and couldnt get our first choice for date!

We havent officially BOOKED the RH yet. When we decide, I'm going to find a church in the area that is available, THEN book both places hopefully in the same day. My mother wants me married in a RC church, but it won't kill her (I hope) if I can't find one.

Then again, we're planning a Friday evening reception, how hard is it to find A Roman Catholic Church within 20 miles of the location, that is free...?

(or am I being overly positive)

what area are you looking for? I know that all (or most at least) of RC Church's require some sort of fee - also, would you need Pre Cana? I am getting married in Wantagh - at St. Frances and it is going to run us between 400-600!
