since we are bumping our wedding up... my next is to book the church. get invitations OUT and then get a dress.

do you have your hall booked before officiant? are you planning to have the ceremony in a church? Be careful, sometimes its hard with short notice to get the exact time and date with a church!! We booked 18months in advance and couldnt get our first choice for date!

We havent officially BOOKED the RH yet. When we decide, I'm going to find a church in the area that is available, THEN book both places hopefully in the same day. My mother wants me married in a RC church, but it won't kill her (I hope) if I can't find one.

Then again, we're planning a Friday evening reception, how hard is it to find A Roman Catholic Church within 20 miles of the location, that is free...?

(or am I being overly positive)

sorry to jump in here, but did you complete your FOCUS and pre-cana yet?? Remember that in order to get married in (most) churches you need to do this. Good luck with everything!!!!

have you decided which RH? I know you were looking at a few places in LIC, if so let me know bc i live very close to that area so can recommend some places

We booked our honeymoon..

I still have too look for the girls dresses. I have a couple in mind but i think i'm going to wait till August - September to order them and of course the guys tuxedos but we have plenty of time for that

I have calls out to officiants and to cocktail hour/ceremony music!

1. church (we finally have an appointment at a place and we chose a religion)
2. photographer (think i know who we are going with, just finishing looking around to make sure i'm getting the best bang for my buck)
3. dj (also think i know who i'm going with, just want to book the photog first and make sure we have enough for all deposits)

*Dropping a deposit tothe resort in Jamaica
*Booking my scouting trip to Jamica for October *07 so I can meet with my wedding planner
