Ok, I am at the point in planning where I need to book music for both ceremony and reception. I need maybe a string trio for ceremony and cocktail hour, and probably a DJ. Are there any good bands out there that do not cost 4,000 or more? Suggestions would be great, if not I am in search of a non-cheesy DJ. Thanks for the help in advance, you have all been so great!

We used DanceJock. They were very professional and 'cheese-free'. We had both a DJ and a singer and percussionist. It was a nice mix of live and recorded music, which I highly recommend.

we are using spin around sound and found them cheese free. We are also using Royal Brass for ceremony music and their pianist for the cocktail hour. i think it is royalbrass.com. I hear that Stan Wiest is great as well. Good luck!
