In my family, the Godfather usually buys the cross for the baby.

If someone is already getting the cross then consider a Bible or maybe a Tiffany rattle.

Ditto on the cross, I purchased one for each of my godsons and For Mike's goddaughter, we also purchased a Hanky Bonnet (its a hat that turns into hankerchief for your wedding)too, I had one and its like a family tradition.

We're not the god parents, but for FH's niece and nephew, we got them ID bracelets...

We had so much fun at the Catholic shop. We got her a cross and chain, a baby's bible, and a celtic cross to hang on the wall. Yipppee! And the bond. Babies are FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
