nice story to share.........
today at lunch I had to run into stop n shop in Levittown to buy something, I kept seeing this cute old man outside walking back and forth doing one of those raffle things, when I walked in..... I was on my cell phone so he smiled, then I saw him again in the store gathering up bags of kit kats and stuff and he smiled to me again; after I paid the cashier I kept some singles out to give to him
so I walk out and he has got this big smile on and
he was like they are three chances for two dollars
so I get them
he must have thanked me like four times, oh thank you dear, etc......
then he started to tell me how he saw me before on the phone but he couldnt even see the phone but saw me holding my hair, 'that must be some small phone you got' he tells me
THIS IS THE Kicker, he tells me that people in the world should do good, etc.... I told him thats true not enough people know or do that and I told him there should be more people like him, he continued to say some sweet things, as I was talking to him My eyes had tears in them b/c of the words he was saying and he was a cute old man who reminded me of my grandpa![]()
then he had three choices of candy and asked what would I like to give to someone later and then he told me how he would rather help others then have others help him! this was the sweetest man I have ever met, he just touched my heart
I told him he has a very good attitude and said 'God bless you' and smiled and started to walk away --- I do not even think he heard me because he said something else and then said 'God Bless you' to me
