I know it is a little early for some, but does anyone know where they are staying the night of the wedding? I just quoted garden City Hotel and they were over $600 for the night.

Re: night of wedding
our hall comped us the bridal suite at the hotel on their premises. We don't even need a car, FH can literally pick me and carry me over to the hotel if need be!
p.s. - I plan on having a few cute photo op's too with us walking away from the RH, through the grotto and over to the hotel to close out our album.

the W hotel is nice too...have you seen the mandarin oriental, it is absolutely gorgeous.
I still haven't decided if we want to go into the city after, maybe its easier to stay in LI, if we do stay in LI we'll stay at the garden city hotel

I havent seen the Mardarin, I am going to Google it. Both the city and LI hotels are nice, but its prob easier to stay in LI. I havent really thought of booking a hotel bec I thought we would have FH's house, but now Im thinking about it we may not be left alone, hahahah, if you book a hotel room can you cancel it? Will they penalize you?

It is gorgeous but also very expensive...its $1200 a night for a STANDARD room...if you want a bigger room or suite it is between $1800-2800 a night
But after the wedding we might not want to troop to the city, so not sure yet what we will do.
Hmmm i would call the hotel and ask about their cancellation policy.

Re: night of wedding
FH and I either want to spend the night at a hotel in the city or by the airport - we're both leaning more towards staying in the city though. I guess it depends when our flight is for the HM.
