What do you guys prefer? Night or Day weddings? I've only been to 1 day wedding. It was over by 5pm and then some of us headed over to the hotel and hung out @ the bar.
Night weddings are good, but I think by 11pm you lose a lot of your older guest.
I'm contemplating whether I want a night or day wedding, so I figured I would ask what you prefer.

Def night. Generally speaking the crowd/guests tend to dance & party more @ evening receptions (generally). We only lost 1 set of older guests about 1/2 hour before the reception ended & ours w/the VH went until midnight.

I prefer night. I haven't been to a day wedding, but I have been to other parties at reception halls during the day, and I found it kind of hard to get up and drink and dance in the daylight. It might just be a personality thing tho. I'm shy, and I like getting up on the dance floor when the lights are dimmed lol
