Nightmares about your wedding

Has anyone ever had a nightmare about their wedding?

I just had one a few nights ago, and I swear it's still haunting me till this day. I dreamt that I woke up and looked at the calendar and August 22nd is circled in bright red. Everyone is telling me to hurry up and get dressed, but I realize that I never bought my wedding dress! I start freaking out and my fiance tells me to go to the wedding center and just buy one, and I flip on him that I can't get a dress altered in an hour. My family begins pulling my hair and applying makeup on me, and it's all hideous and I'm crying. In the end, I realize we never booked a dj, and a bouquet is thrust into my arms as I walk down the aisle in jeans while everyone else is elegantly dressed.

Can you tell my subconscious is telling me to hurry up with the planning? lol. I think all the vendors reminding me that my wedding is less than 7 months away is finally getting to me.

I'm a big dreamer!! I have nightmares about work and the wedding ALL the time!!

There was no liquor at the reception and everyone was pissed. I had to leave to go purchase liquor!!

We all seem to have nightmares along the way, just relax you can get through it. There was a thread on the 2011 brides earlier today about nightmares being normal, and a TON of people (myself included) responded that we have had them.

Yes, I'll definitely need to practice more breathing excercises, lol. At least your weddings are a year or more away... I'm totally freaking that mines is nearly six months away and I only have my RH and Dj!

I've had them too!! They are always about EVERYTHING going wrong the day of.

Me too! I seem to have so much on my mind, I can't even relax in my own sleep these days!

I've had pretty much this exact dream a few times now... That I think I'm going to my rehearsal dinner but really I don't know its my wedding day and that I never scheduled anyone to do my hair and makeup, and I have to walk down the aisle looking like heck because I was not prepared... And I'm trying to get my BMs to help me look pretty but no one will help me! Really terrifying LOL

This is so funny... my fiance told me a few days ago about a very similar dream he had.... only it was him freaking out and trying to scramble around lolll

I personally just don't sleep... so no nightmares for me! ...er YET! :)

Ok, had my first wedding nightmare last night. It's two days before my wedding and I haven't sent out any invites!!! I'm rushing rushing rushing to call people to let them know that my wedding is this weekend!

I woke up and was like 'ok breathe--your wedding is over a year away'.

LOL craziness!

haha... I just started to get them.

The same night that I had my first nightmare about the wedding, FH did too. I am so glad that we are on the same page! lol
