NO BM Dresses---9 days

Original post by SweetCin704

Hi ladies, I'm starting to get very stressed w/ my bm situation. We ordered the first week of Feb. and were told the dresses would be in the 2nd week of May, here we are with 9 days to go & NO dresses yet.

I was told they were looking for a tracking number, but this was over a day ago. Apparently the dresses were shipped, but from where, how?

I have a preggo bm that ordered b4 she knew she was preggos (5 months ago!) & another girl that lost some weight after her baby. Also, some special alterations were supposed to be made to my MOH dress.

FH is starting to freak & 'wants to thandle' the situation.

I'm going to contact the store again first thing this am, but at this point, I'm thinking I may need a back-up plan.

I guess I'm looking to vent, but also see if anyone else has cut it THIS CLOSE!!!!!!

Thanks.

OMG i am so sorry you have to deal with this.

demand some sort of compensation, if the dresses come in. you should get back up dresses though.

Well, long story short for us to get the dresses now it will run $350 per dress & the dresses won't come in until next Wed/Thursday

Jessica McClintock had wonderful dresses which we could get overnight. A decision has to be made today by noon.

Thanks for all your support & fms & for listening....

I was fine until 10pm last night when it all finally hit me. I was on the phone for about 6 hours yesterday back & forth w/ my salon, the manufacturer, other salons & my girls.

I know in the end it will work out & in the grand scheme of things, things could be much worse, but still not fun at this point.

Also everything else coordinates around the color of the girls' dresses so to change that....

I went to Nordstrom, Bloomies, Macys yesterday but found best selection at Jess MC.

Why should it run YOU $350 per dress??? It was not YOUR mistake?? The vendor should absorb the extra cost and then some
