Hi ladies, I'm starting to get very stressed w/ my bm situation. We ordered the first week of Feb. and were told the dresses would be in the 2nd week of May, here we are with 9 days to go & NO dresses yet.
I was told they were looking for a tracking number, but this was over a day ago. Apparently the dresses were shipped, but from where, how?
I have a preggo bm that ordered b4 she knew she was preggos (5 months ago!) & another girl that lost some weight after her baby. Also, some special alterations were supposed to be made to my MOH dress.
FH is starting to freak & 'wants to thandle' the situation.
I'm going to contact the store again first thing this am, but at this point, I'm thinking I may need a back-up plan.
I guess I'm looking to vent, but also see if anyone else has cut it THIS CLOSE!!!!!!

OMG Cin, that is horrible. I say forgot the phone and go there in person and demand a tracking number. While you are there check and see what they have on the rack as a back up. Or another backup could always be Estelles. At least they have tons of the same dress on the rack there, not the greatest selection but at this point, it might be the only option.

Oh no Cindy! This is the last bit of stress you need with 9 days to go! I would definately go to the salon first thing this morning & demand that you get a tracking number or else you will not be leaving. I would also discuss with them the options you have considering you are 9 days away!
If it comes down to it, I would head to Estelles & see what you can come up with!

oh boy!! you can also maybe try jcrew and have them overnight any dresses that they dont have in the store... they have a wedding line now... since it is summer, anything you find your girls will be cute im sure!

that is horrible. i would definitely demand answers from the store. feb. is 5 months ago and i dont know what takes bm dresses so long, they are custom fit. hopefully, they will be in today, but i would go in person and speak directly to a manager.

Cindy, you should go over there and DEMAND those dresses. If they still give you the run around, get your money back and go to a store where you can buy them off the rack. What they are doing is unacceptable!! I am so sorry you have to go through this 9 days before your wedding!!

OMG! Definitely GO to the store and see what they can do. I would start calmly though...you get more bees with honey (or so they say) and ask to speak to the manager or owner. Good luck!

Ditto. They can't ignore you if you're there. They have to help you. And make sure they know you'll make it well known to the rest of the women in the store how unhappy you are if they don't.
I really hope it comes out ok! Will you let us know what happens??

I'll let you know what happens. The place has been excellent until now. I just want answers, I understand if it is out of their hands, but HOW will this situation be rectified, that is my concern.
My dress is still being altered there (I have my final fitting tomorrow) & our fg dresses are there being altered (dont want to be nasty & no reason to be as long as I find SOMETHING out).
I'm calling shortly.
My MOH thinks we should order dresses thru Ann Taylor as a backup.........

If it is any consullation, I wa sin Lord and Taylor the other day, and they had an amazing selection of off the rack dresses, in case. Good luck though!!!

I would definitely go over to the Bridal Salon and not leave until you get an answer that makes you feel at ease....like they're here!

OMG Cindy! I can't believe you have this stress now. You definitely need a back up plan. Order the dresses from Ann taylor today after you talk to the store. You can always return them.

Omg Cindy!!!!!!!! That's insane!!!!!!!! I'm so, so sorry for you and your girls!!!!!!!! Def go down there and don't leave until you have at LEAST a tracking number!!! Get in contact with the manufacturer themselves and don't be afraid to get 'bridezilla' on their @ss!!
Sure, let Ray 'get involved'!! He's an ex-smoker, let him get some of that aggravation out, I'm sure they don't want to deal with him!!! Hope they come in today!!!!!

omg, this is horrible. i'm SO sorry your dealing with this. if i were you i'd be on the phone to the salon multiple times a day. heck, i'd probably go down there and raise hell. this is TOTALLY unacceptable.
