Sorry to hear that does suck! I feel your pain. That was me last year. I enjoyed the school I was in, but didn't socialize with anyone since they were grouped together and stayed in their rooms. Was not used to that at all.
I got a new job and thankfully it's soooo opposite..I clicked with people right away and slid right into their group.
It's hard but just keep being friendly and hopefully over time it will change. If not Fem and remember it's work and you have a life outside of it!

it will change. my new job is full of older people, and i was worried that it would be a drag, but it's actually so fun. they're adorable and cheesy and they think i'm such a hoot! you'll make the most with what you've got! good luck!

theres only 5 in my office, and I am in charge most of the time. With that, when I go against my co-workers I get the cold shoulder for a while. It does suck, but it gets better. Do you try to initiate conversation?

I feel the same way at my job. I love the work and the people aren't awful but I only interact with them about work. It's gotten better. I invited all 15 of them to my wedding. Only 2 are coming.
