I'm sorry- like others said, could you at least maybe manage a long weekend somewhere? Upstate on a lake, eastern LI.... just some time for the two of you!

Re: no HM
Sorry, I know money is tight for everyone right now. But I do think you should try and do something even for 2 nights... Maybe you can find a small honeymoon that you can register for so you don't have to pay. It may not be exactly what you had planned originally but atleast you will get to have a little honeymoon!

Re: no HM
Sorry about that but alot of ppl don't go right away on their honeymoons so it's okay. We are going on a mini honeymoon to the Poconos then our big honeymoon in the new year, maybe you can do something like that?

Re: no HM
I'm really sorry to hear that, you can try entering in contests/sweepstakes in the meantime for an all expense paid HM. Or you don't even have to go all out for an HM, do a BB Inn or a weekend getaway. Something small and intimate for the both of you. Think of this way, you'll save the money now for moving into a new home so the money will go a long way for furnishings and appliances. When the financial situation improves, you can arrange for a short trip or getaway. Now with the swine flu in effect, it's not a good idea to travel to the islands as well as most countries.
