No matter how great your wedding day was did anyone embaress you or do anything

totally out of line? If so, who and what did the person or persons do?

For me it was my own mother..still trying to get over it until this day.

Mine was pretty much drama free, of course it would have been nice if God had waited 1 day before sending a blizzard to LI that night

For me, it was my middle older brother. He basically came into my cocktail hour looking to take my head off and yelled at me for 5 minutes for getting him lost and not transporting guests over LI from the Church to RH (this from the man who had said 2 days beforehand that he knew how to drive and get around on LI).

He spent the rest of the time yelling at my MOH (his wife) and muttering under his breath while we were announced.

My flowergirls mother was a complete embarrassment at our cermony. She was loud and kept asking her kids if they had to go to the bathroom but she is mentally imbalanced...

After watching my video one of my best friends (bridesmaid mind you) was completely trashed. I mean at the last song she was basically passed out on the dancefloor being held by someone else. She apologized, but I'm still sometimes a little hurt. This is someone I've known since I was 10 years old. She actually hung on to me on the dancefloor and almost made me fall. Thank goodness my other bridesmaid was there to hold my balance.

I really had a perfect day, can't complain, but the wind blew my veil and made for some embarassing moments. Plus the wind kept us from lighting the unity candle during the ceremony and blew down part of the decoration on the arch above us. That bothered me but I really didn't let it ruin anything bc I couldn't do anything about it.

Also, my older brother got ready at the RH but forgot his dress socks at home so he had to wear white socks with his tux!! They didn't want to tell me bc they thought I'd get upset, but then DH did (after the ceremony) and I just laughed. The guys still rag on him about it!!

Then there was my mom who was talking to me as we were walking down the aisle. She was pointing out everyone who was there to keep me calm but I didn't like it, finally I just Shh'ed her. I wanted to enjoy that walk just listening to the music and didn't want any distractions when seeing DH for the 1st time.

My day was pretty much drama free. The only thing I did get really pissed about it my mom's cousin cheating on the anniversary dance. She is 76 but had only been married 6 months, but did not sit down when they told people who had been married under 1 year to sit. She just kept dancing and was the last couple standing and then said she was married 50 YEARS! When I had to give her the throw away bo-k she said to me, laughing 'well between the two of us we have 50 years of marriage.' yeah, thats something to be proud of - win the anniversary dance based on your marriages that you got divorced.

mine were minor:

dh's friend- first time i met her was at the wedding. she had a little too much to drink and would hang on me saying how much she loves me and how happy she was for us. and then would say, 'i'm sorry. am i scaring you??' right 'up in my grill'. that bugged me.

dh's nephew- thinks he's a thug. wanting to pose like a thug in family pictures. then, he cut in line when the cigars were available. he took two cigars and no one stopped him. i found out afterwards, so i didn't pull them out of his pocket. that bugged me a lot!

dh's sister- her husband's band was supposed to play at our wedding (as our gift), 6 days before he bails (long story). she's at the wedding, sans husband, and starts crying and hanging on me about how sorry she was. she was behaving like a drunk. i told her it wasn't the time or the place. i just made sure i was no where near her for the rest of the day.

wow... i just re-read what i typed! dh's side is where the weirdos are. my side was drama-free.

in the end: what they did bugged me, but it didn't ruin my day.

Yep, DH got drunk. Not that he had that much, but he was great throughout the planning and was really helping me in the days before the wedding. He was lacking sleep and didn't eat all day. (Which I didn't know) Then he took the wedding cake, once we cut it, and smashed it UP my nose. I got a bloody nose once I blew it out. Trust me, we didn't consummate that night.

Well I found out recently from my DH BM that my MIL approached him with a message for me, that my dress was out of line and I should be ashamed of myself. Fortunely the BM know to keep that to himself until after the wedding. I expect as much anyway.

OMG YES...FIL wife...

It was right before the CH was going to start and we were all upstairs with our extended family members taking pictures...FIL & his wife were late getting there from the hotel - she walks into the room (mind you NO ONE asked where they were) and she LOUDLY states 'There is a good reason why we are late and NO we weren't having sex' The entire room went quite...I just turned to the photographer and said keep shooting...
