No matter how great your wedding day was did anyone embaress you or do anything

There were a few things that went wrong but, nobody embarrassed me. Everyone seemed to have a fun time!

My univited SIL and MY DH's father & wife didnt show up.. mind you he was in the bridal party.

mostly drama free.

Small mom drama:
about 20 min. before the ceremony was to start, I had to go pee. My mother started an argument with me, telling me that I have no time, the ceremony would start late, it is inconsiderate to keep guests waiting, the guests would see me heading to the bridal suite, blah blah blah. She was trying to hold me back, saying that the photog. needed me, etc. I did not want to look back and remember only that I had to pee during my ceremony. I think she was nervous b/c why else would she care if I had to pee?

guest drama: some of DH's friends don't like one of the friends wife. There was some sort of drunken argument and one of the GMs threw a roll at her.

NO one embarrassed me, but I heard later (thankfully) that DH's work table got out of hand & were doing whipped cream shots off one of the gf's chests and she was insinuating other things all night....so classy!!!!!!!!

Oh it was my lovely SIL. She's a piece of work.

Dh's Mother.

Despite our wishes,

she had her son (dh's bro who he hasnt spoken to in over 3 years)

come to our wedding, for her own selfish reasons.

It is unforgivable. I actually feel bad for the woman. She is selfish, manipulative and has a sad life.

Despite that, it only bothered us for 2 mins on our wedding day. we discussed it briefly and decided, HEY, this is OUR day it is about US. so we made believe they werent there. we had an AMAZING day after that!

Hmmm.... how about MIL's good friend's husband trying to go up my dress?

I had never met him before and he came up to introduce himself - which he then proceeds to hang all over me. I would get rid of him for awhile and then he would come back. At one point I turned around to talk to an old friend and her husband when I noticed them looking behind me kinda strangely. I turned around and found him trying to crawl up under my dress! I found out the next day that he was so drunk he actually fell down at one point!



Oh.. almost forgot.... during the ceremony when we sealed the deal with a kiss he yelled out 'SAVE IT FOR THE HONEYMOON!'

Needless to say I had the videographer edit that out!

Nope, nobody embaressed us.
Some embaressed themselves, though!!

Oh actually...yes my Grandma...she said one thing that I cannot write on here....

OH and she told my DH at the end of the night that 'he was going to have a wild ride that evening' Whatever the hell that means

Just ask the girls who attended...my BIL gave a glorious speech.

My day was pretty much drama free. My photohgrapher said I was like the most calmest bride ever. [ME?!?! HAHA!]
-I think my mom started panicking when the photographer showed up b/c she wasnt dressed yet and I was just finishing my makeup, so she bugged alittle, and Im just looking at her like 'chill!' lol...
-Then, naturally, SHE blames me....1 of my lovely sister in laws BLAMED me 4 not giving the 2 RB's [1 was her son] the RB pillows! they were in the limo, but what can I say, that was the last thing on my mind...and she just kept talking and talking about it all day, like 'omg, i cant belive u forgot to give my son the pillow. thats so important!' meanwhile her son wanted to hold the FG basket anyway! haha! But she was saying it all day and i looked at her, and i was just like 'ok enough already. its my wedding day. ryan will walk in with the pillow at the reception. u could actually do something too.' uhh....
-then the groomsmen [when the picked me up] almost dropped me, or they pretended. im not quite sure!

Very little minor stuff...the bigger things happened BEFORE the wedding, thankfully.

While we were getting ready. one of my BMs decides to start b*tching about the whole time issue of when I wanted them at the hotel (which they gave me a hard time about) and decides to throw at me 'See? We're all here, you didn't need to send us all that nasty email'. I see my MOH is about to jump in with her on attacking me, so I replied 'You know what? There's a lot of things I could say right now, but it's my wedding day and I am not going to get into this. It's supposed to be a happy occasion'.

Thankfully Jenn & Oksana yelled at them on my behalf after that.

Then in the limo from the hotel to the park, my BMs start on me again on how they never got to take the 'helping me get ready' pictures. Meantime while I was getting ready they said nothing. Most of them were not even dressed yet!

During the reception the only thing that ticked me off was 2 of my friends were griping about the music, saying I needed to play more freestyle. I had to inform them DH hates freestyle, we had to compromise somewhere. But I remember yelling 'How the hell do you tell a bride on her wedding day that you think the music s ucks??!!'

No one embarrassed me, but they did embarrass themselves.

1 - A guy I work with is cheating on his wife with another woman that I work with. Well apparently at the wedding they disappeared for 20 minutes and his wife saw them walking into the RH together after 20 minutes. She flipped out in the lobby, then they (husband and wife) got into a fight, he hit her, and then he got arrested. I had no idea all of this was going on until the next day when someone said to me 'who was that guy that got arrested in the lobby?'. Then I had to investigate.

2 - My friend (not my friend anymore) got SO wasted he tried to hook up with EVERYONE. He was so annoying all night and was hitting on everyone, however no one did anything to him because it was a wedding and they did not want to cause a scene. But then at the end of the night he tried to kiss my cousin's wife and would not stop. She kept saying no, but he kept forcing himself on her. Finally my cousin saw and almost killed him. Again I did not see this, but I did see a group of people outside the room looking down the stairs. So I knew it was something with him and I ran out to see what happened. It got bad for a second, but I told the maitre d' to get him out of there and he was not to be aloud back in and that calmed things down a bit. It really was did not last long because they kicked him out and I was just so happy it happened with only 30 minutes left to the wedding, but I felt so bad for my cousin and his wife. They were not mad, but I just felt bad.

Other than that everything was perfect. These 2 things really did not cause a scene at all. Lets put it this way, DH had no idea these things happened until we got in the limo going home and I told him. That how much it did not affect the wedding <-- Thank Goodness!!!

LMAO!! People are nuts.

When I first saw this I thought that my day was perfect, and nothing went wrong, then I really thought about it and I have a list, I will start at the begining of the day:

1: My moh and bms were all freaking out at the hotel, whining about how nervous they all were, at this point they all had hair and make up done, and were completely dressed. I, the bride, had not even had my hair finished, nor did I have a drop of make up on my face. My hair/make up person started to get annoyed, and we had to ask them to stay out of the room where we were.

2. When we arrived at the church mil, fil, bil, and sil, all came to greet me, fil hugged me, bil was really nervous and made a joke and made me smile, he was great, mil did not say a word to me, and sil ignored me and walked over to the other bms.

3. After dad walked me up the aisle, he was really emotional, and started to tear up. My train was really really long, it went back a few pews in the church, so when dad went to sit down, he just walked across my train instead of walking back down the aisle and all the way around. I dont care, it didnt bother me at all, I didnt even know he did it until later in the day when I asked why everyone in the church gasped!

4. My florist forgot the rose petals, so we had nothing thrown at us when leaving the church

5. We went to 2 diff locations for pics between church and reception. On the way from photo spot 1 to photo spot 2 the limo my dhs side was in decided they needed to stop at mcdonalds, because they just couldnt wait the 45 mins until we got to the rh. So when they finally arrived at the picture spot, it was time to go, we didnt want to pay overtime on the limo, and they did not want to get out because it was windy so they just went.


6. As soon as we arrived at the RH the BP and my il's all trashed the bridal suite, they were all in there feet up on furniture drinking heavily. They just could not wait. Shortly after ch started and they all went out to the deck to enjoy it. It was time for me to be bustled. Less than a week before the wedding all of my 5 bridesmaids came to learn how to bustle my dress...all of them!! So when it was time to do it where were they? Enjoying ch, and would not leave to come help me. So my bridal attendant, and my moh were left doing it...needless to say it was totally wrong and looked not nice.


7. After I was bustled it was time to take pics out on the beach. At this point we had finished all of my formal family pics, all the bridal party, and a lot of just dh and I. Not one pic had been taken of anyone in dhs family. The photographer asked them to meet us on the beach. I was having my make up touched up. Well when I was ready we made our way down to the beach, we were there for an hour, and his family never showed up. I do not have one picture of me and anyone in his family. Not one. We never took pics of his family at all. We left the first pic spot after taking all of my family stuff, it was just too muddy, and windy, they were at mcdonalds for he second spot, and never showed on the beach.


8.I personally did not see this, nor did I hear about it until I was out of my gown and walking to the limo to go home. My aunt is kinda high strung. She has 2 adopted sons. I seated my aunts and uncles together, and I put 2 children with them, because both of these kids were under the age of
10. I have a lot of cousins, I seated my cousins all together at a table. My aunt was enraged that her sons were not seated with her, didnt realize that they were at another table, she just assumed we forgot about them because they were adopted, grabbed a table cloth, and pulled everything off the table. She broke plates, cups, and my huge centerpiece. I was in the bridal suite getting bustled, heard a crash but didnt think anything of it. When I walked out of the bridal suite the room looked perfect. I noticed during the night my aunt and uncle werent there, I asked dh what happened and he told me that he would tell me later. When I was leaving my mother was thanking the bm for taking care of everything and appologizing for what happened, thats when my mom told me. I had no clue. Atlantica is amazing! If I had known I would have flipped out!


9. Ok so we make it through the reception, everything is going great. We are having a really wonderful time. Then its time for speeches. My bil, the bm, gave an amazing speech, people are still talking about it 3 months later. Then comes my moh, who is a bit tipsy at this point. She pulls it from her cleavage in front of the entire room, and proceeds to read it from a crumpled up piece of paper. I dont even know what to say about this toast...it was something else...people are still talking about hers too, and asking why I let her speak in front of everyone.

10. At the end of the night I am dancing with my mom and moh, and dh and my uncle are talking and watching us. Then it happened. Someone pooped their pants at my wedding!!! They were standing right next to us at the time of the incident. It smelled so bad that I litterally gagged and my mother, moh and I ran across the room. Eventually the stank made its way across the room to dh and my uncle and they understood

11. My dhs best friend was so drunk, and wanted to get laid so badly, he didnt care by who. He ran around asking everyone he could if they had a condom, and then proceeded to find a mate. He first tried with a good family friend, but he couldnt remember her name, so then moved on to my moh, who invited him back to her room. She left out the part that it was really my room, that I was paying for, and she was staying there with 3 bm's one of the readers and a gm.

12. MOH struck again, she flirted with the mc all night. She also gave him her hotel room number, and didnt tell him who she was with. So he goes to the room, when he gets there he sees its a party, my parents were there, and my brothers, and everyone was having a good time. He then says he has pot and offers it to everyone. When they decline he really starts pushing it. He practically begged my bp to let him come into the room so they could all smoke pot together. Yeah that went over well when I found out.

Thats it! I had a really amazing wedding day, and nothing bothered me at all that day! It was perfect, I have great stories to tell to my kids someday!

No drama here!!

even the guests were well behaved LOL! i anticipated some sort of problem-- but there was none THANK GOD!!
