i think i'll go crazy if i'm home another day. i wouldn't mind a delayed opening. if that happens, my kids come in, go to library, then to lunch - that i could deal with

a lot of schools have 2 hour delays so far
which annoys me, bc i have a .8 schedule, so i go in 2 hours late every day

i wonder if there will be shortened periods or if they just cut out periods

I make my own hours to service kids at home, but I feel bad canceling for the snow if the local schools arent closed, ya know! I need to travel to Carle Place, West Hempstead, East Meadow, Wheatley Heights, and Merrick tomorrow -- if anyone hears of closings in those areas - pls dont hesitate to let me know !!!!!!

I make my own hours to service kids at home, but I feel bad canceling for the snow if the local schools arent closed, ya know! I need to travel to Carle Place, West Hempstead, East Meadow, Wheatley Heights, and Merrick tomorrow -- if anyone hears of closings in those areas - pls dont hesitate to let me know !!!!!!

My company was closed today (I work in NYC and live in Suffolk county)...yet I worked from home. Might not work tomorrow and still work from home - it's not worth it to me with the LIRR hell lol

i got a call a few min ago that my school is closed (huntington school district). last night i didn't get a call until 10:20. so you never know what could happen

My mom works in that district too! At stewart manor school. More than likely they are going to close or be a delay (worse case). She said if the surronding areas are closed, they prob will too. She's going to text me and I'll update when i hear from her.

thanks! they also haven't called about garden city yet (that's where my niece and nephew go to school)
