NoFo Restaurants after the wineries?

Original post by ginny26

I'm trying to help plan a bachelorette party out on the North Fork. I've been to the wineries & we know which ones we'd like to visit, but I hardly ever eat dinner out there. We want something nice (not too stuffy/fancy; not too casual) but not too far east since we'll be heading back to Nassau. Does anyone have any reviews/info on these restaurants: Legends, Red Door, or a Touch of Venice? I love the Seafood Barge, so that might be a possibility too. Any other ideas? TIA!

Lobster Roll Northside is open off season. I live on the North Fork, Southold actually. Legends is good, Meson Ole in Greenport is a fun place to hang out. Porto Bello in Mattituck is one of my favoirite places and the food is great...best fried Calamari on the North Fork. If you are interested in going there it's on Rt 48 (the north road, aka sound ave) right before it turns into one lane you will see it on your left. A great place to end a day of wine tasting!
There's lots of places but during the winter most of the good ones are closed. sorry.
