NON-liw vendors

i asked this question in one of the deleted threads...dont care to talk about that bc i have no involvement and not getting in the middle

BUT we're not allowed to use non-liw vendors in our reviews? many of you saw this and others asked the same thing. I dont think this is true i am asking bc a couple of my vendors are non-liw vendors...i know starlight is not a liw vendor and ive seen their reviews and claudia and maureen pedala are not liw vendors and ive seen girls write their reviews

PLEASE dont continue the drama in this thread or talk about that particular situation. I just want to get an answer and if its brought up in here then it will get quickly deleted like the other 2 threads.

Is there any guideline about which vendors we can review? i really dont think there is any

yea I thought the same thing when I saw that- I could have sworn that I have seen non-LIW vendors- but now I am not sure

Iam clueless to that because i have seen so many reviews with non LIW Vendors. I hope someone could shed some light on that particular question

i am sure, when i was researching maureen and claudia pedala i read brides reviews who used them and they are definitely not LIW vendors

plus starlight told me they were not

If you've seen non-liw vendors reviewed before, then you can put them in your review. And we've all seen them reviewed before.

yeah i was like HUH when i read that. I thought maybe theres SOME type of guideline but i dont think there is. IS there like a guideline as to which non-liw vendors we can review but then that doesn't make much sense

I've seen reviews posted about non LIW vendors but I think depending on the review, that might cause it to get pulled. I know that you can't talk about Mia from BL anywhere, lol

oh wow not even in a review.

Yeah i know there has to be some rules. But the thing was the person was not reviewed simply bc they are not an LIW vendor so thats what made me question this

All of my vendors are non-liw and I will post my review about each of my experiences with them. If it gets pulled I'll just re post it.

The purpose of this board is for reviews of weddings by the bride and/or groom only. Thus it becomes a wonderful research tool for brides to be.

1) Please post reviews of your wedding and not others.

2) If you start a review prior to your wedding (i.e. invitations) please add to this review as time goes on. This will eliminate multiple reviews by the same person.

3) If you have an area of concern with a specific vendor, please communicate directly with that vendor.

4) If you have a specific vendor rave this is not the board.

yeah nothing about non-liw vendors

I've seen non liw vendors on reviews the only thing is that they do not show contact information for said vendors.
It feels like I am gone for a week and I miss a ton of stuff.....

i have seen non-liw vendors ALL the time on reviews. if they started to pull posts because they had non liw-vendors in them then there would be no reviews on the board or some very short ones.

i think they do however edit or remove posts with bad reviews on non-liw vendors.

I dont think its true. What if a bride doesnt use any LIW vendors, what are they going to write in their review, 'they were great, FM for their name'. Who is going to write that many FMs to give the info.

I'm sure you can use their names, just dont bash them.

well the bashing i think is even more not acceptable towards LIW vendors since they pay to advertise. But yeah even non-liw vendors the bashing is not allowed depending on how its done bc i have seen some vendors get bad grades on reviews. But this was regarding a person not getting reviewed only bc of them not being an LIW vendor . I think sometimes we get confused about certain rules and misunderstand so it was probably an honest mistake, who knows not getting involved in that.
