Re: North Massapequa??

We rent an apartment in a house in North Massapequa. I like the area alot. I'm pretty sure the school district is good. We look at houses in the area online (we're not that serious yet) and it seems like the taxes are pretty high. In general the yards are all pretty small though. I've lived here for two and a half years. Overall I do like it. Although the apartment drives me nuts!

Re: North Massapequa??

I lived in an apt on North Pine street in North Massapequa and I LOVED the area!! My husband and I were seriously thinking about looking for a house there but it kills us to pay the taxes in Nassau for a small piece of property!!

Its a great neighborhood!!

Good Luck!!

Re: North Massapequa??

I think the schools are Amityville, so that is something to consider. They are not that great.

Re: North Massapequa??

North Mass is a great area. The schools are Plainedge, one of the better districts in Nassau. The neighborhood is great. If youc an afford it, by all means check it out.

Re: North Massapequa??

Sections of North Massapequa are also in the Farmingdale school district. I've heard that it's good as well, but not as good as Plainedge.
