North Ritz Brides

Hello, I am thinking of booking the North Ritz Club in Syosset for my wedding next September. Does anyone know anything about the food? Also, is it under the same management as Villa Victor with just a name change or is it under new management? Any information about the North Ritz Club would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Septbride

Re: North Ritz Brides

I booked the NRC for next year. From other posts on this board I've read the food is delicious so I booked with them before going to the food tasting. I think it's under new management. Are you going to book 9/20, afternoon or evening? When I first saw it I knew I wanted to have my reception there and the people are great!

Re: North Ritz Brides

I am getting married there in October. I booked in June of 2001 when it was still under construction. Almost every promise they made to me about the work they were planning to do came true. (They had no railing, elevator, bridal suite etc. when I booked!)

I went to the food tasting and it was great.

I am not sure if it is new owners or what but from what I hear it has been majorly redone. I believe they shut the doors from Jan-Mar of last year and ripped the roof and had the whole place redone. I worked with Dennis and I know he has been there for awhile. The owners are George and Gus and they also own the diner next door.

It is so funny how much talk there has been on this board about NRC lately. If you do a search on this board you will gets lots of info. When I booked there I think I was one of like 2 brides getting married there.

If you have any other questions let me know.

Re: North Ritz Brides

Thank you!! I think the North Ritz Club is great, very elegant. I was a little concerned about the food since it is pretty new but I feel better after reading your responses. I also tried a search like bridetobe suggested on NRC, alot of positive comments on the food. I planning on having my wedding there on September 20th in the afternoon.

Thanks,

Septbride
