North Ritz Club Vendors

Hi North Ritz Brides, I'm still stuck on picking a dj and photographer, and I'm looking for a little help. Are you guys using any of the vendors they recommend? If you aren't who are you using? Thanks in advance

I am not using any of their vendors, and I have a band...sorry....Do a search on North Ritz Club maybe something will come up

Who are their recommended vendors now? I used SAS for my wedding and they were not a vendor at that time but may be now (I think right after my wedding they became one). I highly recommend them.

Thanks for your help. Their recommended vendors for photography are Deja Vu, Creative Compostions, Sherwood Triart, and Proline Studios. Their recommended djs are Touch of Class, Bravo Sound International, Big Hits Entertainment, Spin Around Sound, and Starlight Express. I've heard great things about a lot of other vendors though, Imagine, Patken and Body Rock for the DJ, but I wanted to see about using on of their vendors before we checked elsewhere. Thanks again

I don't know much about those photographers. I had used Fine Art.

As far as DJ's, like I said I used Spin Around Sound. They were wonderful. Definitely search by SAS or Spin Around Sound because there are a lot of girls on here who have used them or are planning on using them and I rarely hear anything bad about them. I first learned about them on this site. I had also visited Starlight Express - but didn't go with them. From their videos, they seemed to be more than what I wanted (as far as gimmicks, smoke, lights and mc'ing).

I was married there last August at NRC. I had Touch of Class DJ and he was pretty reasonable. I used Burton's for the flowers and they were amazing!!! Don't request fresh flowers on your cake, they automatically did it for me for free. I did choose Cassarino studios for the video and photo. I'm not happy at all. My video was everyone dancing and my favorite photos didn't come out because they were too dark. I'm still waiting for my photo album....
Anyway, the NRC was the best place and if I could I'd get married there all over again.

The only vendor I am using from NRC is Touch of Class DJ. He was reasonably priced and really nice! sorry I didn't use any of the other recommendations.

I am using Creative Compositions for my photography. I actually booked them last week. After researching many many other photographers (including Sherwood Triart) we opted to go with CC because I fell in love with their work. We have one of the owners Ernie as our main photographer. You really should make an appt. and meet with them. They are wonderful!!! Trust me you will not be dissapointed. I was there for over 2 hours when I first met with them. I went through many albums and proofs and couldn't find any one pic I didn't like. I really loved their style of photography and Ernie's personality won us over also. He took time and answered every single question I had. I also liked the fact that I got to meet with Ernie and spend time talking to him considering he is going to be the main photographer that day. They are located in Oyster Bay. Def. make an appt. and meet with them.Creative Compositions

I also used Bravo Sound DJ as my DJ for my engagement party. They were unbelievable!!! They kept everyone on the dance floor and I am having them (along with a band) for the wedding too!

i am not using any of their vendors. i checked out sherwood triart and they were too pricey for us. and as far as flowers go, i will either use burtons or jack and rose. we are using a band (body heat).

i am using Skyline Orchestras (specifically, Code Bleu) for my 8/2 wedding at NRC. they are a preferred vendor for NRC and so far i am very pleased in dealing with them! plus, obviously, we liked what we saw at their demo performance (i am drawing a total blank on what that's called!!).

I am using Starlight Express for my DJ. They were recommended from FMIL's friend who saw them at a wedding last year and loved them. We didn't even know they were a vendor of NRC until we met with them. So far they have been nice. I'll let you know how they were after 10~12. I am using Imagine and Flower Michele.

Well, Imagine isn't a vendor, but you mentioned them. That is who I am using. Their work looks lovely...I think you should check them out

Thank you everyone so much for your help!! This is so overwhelming!! There are so many vendors out there, I want to make sure that I find the right one for our wedding! I'm trying to meet with the NRC vendors first, and then if they don't work out I'll go see other vendors. Thank goodness I have 458 days to go! but I'm sure they'll go too fast!
