I'm having my ceremony/wedding at Giorgios and only have 2 people in my bridal party. Were staying overnight, the night before and day of at the Indigo hotel 10 mins away. I'm thinking its stupid to spend $300-$500 on a ten minute ride no one will see. Also i'm getting ready at Giorgios....Not sure if this is a huge mistake or huge way to cut costs by getting a ride by family to venue then having my FH truck decorated by groomsmen and have someone drive us ten minutes back to hotel...Any advice is appreciated?

I would cut the cost if I could. Maybe just a limo for you guys for after the reception to drive you to the hotel??? A pickup is way less than a full day. Cuts cost by like a third.

I can see if you had a huge bridal party and you had a far drive. However did you think of looking into a nice luxury car or town car instead? How much would you be saving if you went down that route? Just a suggestion.

I'm going to have a family member or my MOH's husband drop us off at the venue in the morning for hair and makeup (my FSILs are BMs and going elsewhere to get their hair and makeup done) and then plan on getting a town car to take FH and I back to the hotel.

Cut cost, you can get away with it bc of your small party! Arrange for a ride before your big day!

I'm not having a limo either.you don't really need it if your ceremony and reception are at the same location...I'm taking my pictures at my venue as well

Thank you for all of your advice! For town car the cheapest I found would be about $108 each way and $194 for limo. So I would save at least $200 but that's also considering its 10 minutes away the hotel.

I'm not having a limo either my ceremony and reception are in the same place and we plan on spending the night at a nearby hotel. I think the money can be better spent on something else.

Totally cut the cost. Small bridal party, getting ready at the venue, and having the ceremony there, there's no need for the limo. I think decorating your FHs pickup is adorable.

I am cutting the cost and even though we have a decent size bridal party and are doing a church ceremony. We are only getting a car for FH and I. It will take me to the church and it will take us to the Fox. Pretty much all of the bp will be from out of town and it is less of a hassle in the morning to get everyone the following day.

We aren't having limos. I am staying over night in the hotel with friends, the rest of the girls will drive to the hotel in the morning to get ready (that way their cars are at the hotel when the leave the next day). The guys will arrive and get ready at the hotel day of and then it is ceremony and reception at the Fox. It was one the reasons we chose Fox so we could cut the cost of having a limo.
