Not falling in love with any dress online....

I like some of the dresses I see, but for the most part I feel like there's nothing I am really eager to try on. I feel like I've looked at hundreds on the computer, but no goo goo gaga. lol.
Am I the only one who really hasn't fallen in love with any dress??

I tried on a lot of dresses...sometimes I thought they were beautiful in the pictures tired them on and hated them

I think it is best to go and try some on to see what you like..you never know you might find the one that way

They are so much prettier in person. Go to a salon then you'll get Goo Goo GaGa.

Lol...I always wonder how anyone can help me get a dress when I have no idea what I'm even looking for. The only thing I know that I definitely want is a mantilla veil....they are soooo beautiful.
But, I don't think I'd want a lace dress.

Try on EVERYTHING! I hated all pics in magazines and on-line and literally tried on 50-60 dresses. Nothing looks the same on the hanger or in a mag as it does on your bod.

Most of my friends can't understand why I don't own bridal magazine....
I skim them and don't like anything in the magazine, so I'm not wasting my money. lol.

Dani, did you get your dress yet? How long were you looking for?

All the places I walked into I told them I don't want pick-ups and possibly no train..What do you have?

These girls are trained to help you find the best style..BTW I didn't think I wanted lace but didn't rule it out and my dress has some

I did also try on a dress with pick ups just to make sure

I did not LOVE anything I saw in pictures.

You definitely have to try things on - try on EVERYTHING - you will figure out which styles work best for you!

I think getting the dress is going to be the hardest part. I'm extremely indecisive. I can just picture myself getting all confused. How long did it take you to find the dress?

It took me about 3-4 months..I never got that 'One' feeling but I put the deposit on the dress I thought was the best.

I knew it was a great pick when I had to call the next day to find out when it was going to be shipped..(I even went to visit the sample this weekend to make sure)

Don't be discouraged!!! Go to salons and be open minded. Try on styles you think you won't like. I guarantee you'll feel like a million dollars- I don't know why or how but wedding dresses just make every woman look like a princess.

That being said, it took me MONTHS to find the one. I started in February and purchased in September. I probably tried on about 100 dresses. It was insane. Even after I found 'the one' I went back once more to be sure and then ordered it.

C, You have plenty of time..I suggest looking around to get an idea of what style you feel looks right on you. If you don't like what's out there now, maybe wait till next season's dresses come out. I also suggest going to Valentina's Salon in brooklyn. They sell their own line of dress (as well as other designers) which are beautiful and very good quality and you can customize the dress any way you like. I had a great experience with Valentina's so far! HTH
