not happy!

So the past few days I have been getting phone calls on my cell phone from venders and at first I didnt think anything of it but then i realized that they were all house venders from the Inn
I also have been getting a lot of junk mail from venders. I didnt put my correct address up on here because I didnt want to get the 1,00000000+ advertisements from the venders and now I am!!
so you may ask how? WELL apparently The Inn gave out my phone number and address with out ever asking me!!!
Im really mad about this, Im not exactly ready to start booking venders we just booked the hall. I called the inn and they said they would send out an email telling the venders I didnt want to be contacted yet but whats that going to do now/ I already got 2 phone calls after the BM said they would send out the email. Once the venders have your information they arent going to stop calling
Im not very happy at all, they should have asked first before giving out my phone number! and address too!

yea it happend to me with the westbury manor, everyday i came home and there were messaes from DJs, Photographers, and all sorts of vendors.....its been about 4 months since i booked and they've pretty much stopped. The mailing have definately slowed down too. Its annoying but thats the business and how they make their money.

Best advice....make an A pile of advertisements that strike you as possiblities....a B pile for backups, and chuck everything else. That way when you are ready you dont have to go searching for info and phone numbers!
