not having a good day...

not having a good day...

I'm having an bad day today... my husband stopped by for some stuff on Friday and it wasnt pretty. We argued and didn't get anywhere in conversation... Yesterday I ran into him at Irish Day and we barely said hi to each other as we passed each other on the street...

then today I find out he was out on Friday at the local bar and the dj was announcing my husbands name saying 'hes back' 'and all you single ladies out there just to ley you know hes back'. my heart sank.. i mean the disrepect I am getting and I didnt even do anything. Of course I call my husband all upset but all he could say is that his friends did it, he didnt ask them to- (his friend owns the bar he was at) Waht an a^^hole!!!!!!!!

it was so hard yesterday because this town is so small.. 1/2 the people I ran into were congratulating me on my marriage b/c i havent seen them and some who have found out are consoling me b/c of the separation.

I am just having a bad day and can't stop crying. When will I start to feel better?

I'm so sorry you are feeling this way - it will take a while but YOU WILL feel better and find happiness. WHen you mentioned the part about the bar - do you really think this man deserves you?? YOU deserver much better than that. Hang in there

I'm so sorry. You shouldn't have to go through this. I know that life seems totally unfair right now, but I know from experience that you WILL heal and realize that this man did NOT deserve you.

Re: not having a good day...

You can never tell what will happen in life. My friend dated his ex-wife for a total of 7 years before they finally got married. After 10 months of marriage, she left him. He lost EVERYTHING- his home, his stuff, his DOG...he even got stuck taking HER old car while she drove off in the new one...

And, now, he is happily remarried. And, from what we can tell, he is SO much happier now than he ever was before! He met his new wife while he was legally separated from his first wife. A few months after his divorce was final, he remarried.

So, keep your chin up! You never know what else is out there for you!!!

I am so sorry you are hurting, unfortunately I think it's going to take a while to feel better. If I were you, I wouldn't go to the places you went to with your husband for a while. Give yourself some time to heal and move on a bit.

If there's anything I can do, please let me know --

I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a rough time. Hang in there!

I wonder if a small change of scenery might help? I know it's not easy to take a vacation on a whim or anything like that, but I bet finding a new hobby or interest would really help (it's also a great way to meet new people -- maybe even people who don't know anything about you, your husband, or your situation). Even something like joining a book club might be a happy distraction.

I wish you all the best. Things will get better!

sweetadeline's ideas are good- it's going to be hard and take time, but if you try to keep busy and make new friends that will help the process.

I have a few friends who were married previously to men who ranged from simply immature to downright rotten. And each of them healed and re-married men who are much better for them. Hang in there!

I am so, so sorry you are going through this.

Do you have a good support system you can lean on??? This is the time you need to do some heavy leaning on close, trusted pals.

Hang in there .. maybe try to get out and do things that will bring a smile to your face .. try to get out of your small town, so you're not running into people you know .. maybe try to get away for a weekend.

My thoughts are with you as you try to get through this difficult time .. your days will get brighter!!
