Not using a Videographer?

I almost made that mistake. If you look around, there are decent videographers with basic packages starting at $700, $800 for raw footage and as low as $1200 for basic editing.

Mine was great and I would hate myself right now I had not gotten one. The day goes by like a flash and there are things you miss that the videographer is able to capture for you.

I personally have few regrets about my wedding day, and one of them was not getting a more cinematographic, expensive videographer. I didn't think it would be as important to me as it is now! I got a deal from a family friend and paid $1500 for my video coverage and DVD. Looking back I would have saved and done a different company and paid $4000 for it. It's the one thing I super regret. I say find a cheap videographer at the least. You will want to recapture your day.

i was very unsure about this in the beginning. because truthfully how many times are FH & I actually going to sit down & watch it. however my entire family loves watching home movies. when family members pass away there is a difference between watching them in a video & seeing pictures of them. i also noticed that my brothers kids love watching the video from my brother & SILs wedding so i figured it would be a good idea to do it for the future.

My friend didn't get one for her wedding; but a family member got her a videographer as her wedding gift. My FH was going to record the wedding for her; she couldn't afford to pay for both photo/video.
