My physician is leaving the medical plan I have through work, and I need to find a new one. Of the people close to me, not one of their doctors in listed in the plan, so I pretty much have to sign on with a new one completely unknown.
Does anyone know Dr. Jay Starr in Deer Park? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
He is a good doctor. However ALOT of people go to him, so don't be surprised if an appointment takes a few hours.
why the phone was so busy when I tried contacting them. If you don`t mind my asking .. besides being a good doctor, does he have a decent personality? My last doctor was good, but had a poor bedside manner .. borderline rude. I`d really like to find someone who doesn`t make me worry that he/she is going to make me feel embarrassed, silly or stupid for whatever I would need to go in for or for whatever questions I might ask.

He is short and to the point if you are looking for a doctor to take the time with you get to know you a bit besides patient id # then he is not for you.
