Hi girls, it's sunday morning 8 am and I am worried. I had just gotten my period 2 weeks ago and now I have it again. I never had this happen before. Anyone know why? I am very nervous. I first noticed a trace of blood in my urine last night and this morning it's like a period. I bleed when I urinate and had to put a pad on. I was just at the gyn friday for an exam, didn't feel anything wrong. Can anyone help? (I don't wanna go to the ER)

Re: not wedding related-medical question help
Hey Jenn, I see the ladies here as always are very helpful and try to help in anyway that they can. Last year I went to the bathroom and I saw blood in my urine, talk about scared I went to the emergency room. The Gyn said that I had a urinary tract infection or something along those lines. I was given antibiotic. I hope what you are experiencing is nothing more than that.
The gyn also told me that after intercourse a woman should get up and urinate, it helps to stave off any bacteria that would have stayed internally.
Please let us know the outcome sweetie.
Take care of yourself and try not to worry too much. I know easier said than done.

I am sure you are fine. Stress can do wacky things to our cycles. Also an infection can cause the same thing. I would wait until Monday and go to my normal doctor, unless you are really bleeding very heavy and are getting weak, fever or pain. The emergecny room can give you any doctor, young/old/male/female. I would not feel comfortable. But that is just me. If you are in any pain or get a fever go right away.

Jenn..... did you lift anything heavy? I once lifted something heavy and this happened, or you can be ovulating I sometimes get spotting, or have you been on any medication? I know you said you were on not on the pill, but wanted to warn all of you outthere that I was on the pill for two and a half weeks, and my gyno took me off because it was making my blood pressure go up, so my period came early. I went about my business and counted my usual 28 days, and I did not have my period... I was petrified I was preganant and paranoid I was pregnant, I took 5 tests and they were all negative, finally my period came right when it should have if I was not on the pill. After that I have been paronoid about sex, even though we use 2 forms of birth control. Try to relax but definately take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease. I suggest EPT, that is what I used.

I can only think of what might be the cause has already been said by the other girls. I'm sure it's probably nothing serious and I hope that everything turns out okay. Please let us know how you are doing. Take care!

Re: not wedding related-medical question help
Hi all, My favorite thing to do is fish, so FH took me out of Point Lookout on a charter fishing boat. Took my mind off this for a few hours. I couldn't stay home Iwould have went nutty and then I start searching the internet for a reason untill I come across everything in the world that I think I have it all (lol). The blood is like the first day of a regular period. I am not bleeding super heavy, nor do I have pain while urinating or pain in general. GYN told me this morning if I bleed heavy to go to the ER, but I didn't because I can't bear sitting there for 6 hours only for them to tell me later to 'follow up with your physician'. Tomorrow I am going on my lunch hour to my GYN to get rechecked. As for a pregnancy test, I'd feel better getting a blood test or have the doctor do it. If this home test came out positive, I'd flip here at home. I hope this is just another period, and if so, I hope theres nothing else wrong. Never had it twice in one month before (in 2 weeks at that) but as I see by some of your responses, it can happen. I'll let you all know what the dr. says or if he wants to send me for further testing of any kind....untill then, Thanks and keep me in your prayers (just in case).

Sometimes, you can get your period, have it go away for a few days and then get it back. I've had that happen. Try not to worry too much. I'm sure you are okay. Sometimes these freak things happen with no explanation. Feel better.
