How good does Mikey look this year? I swear I don't think he's ever been in such great shape!

He looks great..as usual! My absolute favourite on the team is Jeromy Burnitz..I love him!!! I hope he has a great season this year--it's looking good for him so far with 6 doubles!!

In 1986 it was Daryl Strawberry....
I don't know anyone else on the team now except Piazza, but then again, do you need anyone else?

Lenny (Nails) was my favorite. He was such a cutie! I met him once - he was signing autographs. I asked him if I could kiss him on the cheek. He said ok. Oooooohhh a 16 year old girl's fantasy

I was and think I still am in love with Rick Aguilera from the '86 Mets. I met him in person at baseball card shows several times. Love him! My mom is the biggest Keith Hernandez fan in the world. I have so many silly stories regarding her and Keith!!!
I am not sure who my favorite is now. I love Fonzie (player wise - not looks wise) but they let him get away. I am rooting for Ty Wigginton. I like his spunk. I like Leiter and Piazza too.
Let's go Mets!
(PS My computer at work's background is the Mets emblem.)

I met Rick Aguilera too - I had my picture taken with him. He was soooo cute and very sweet too.
One Met that I thought was a total JERK was Lee Mazilli I had to pay $10 to get in to this place where he was signing autographs. When I got up to him, I noticed his World Series ring. Usually when you look at someone's ring, you touch their hand. Well, he didn't like that, and pulled his hand away like I was going to steal his ring or something. PU-LEEEEEASE!! He didn't look happy at all to be there either.

I like Piazza and Alomar too. Hopefully Alomar will play better this year.
My least favorite is Benitez. I can't stand him.

Re: Noticed alot of Mets Fans........
Benitez makes me soooooo on edge. The guy has the most fragile ego I've ever seen!! It's like-once he gives up a hit or even better...a walk--he loses every ounce of concentration out there.

Not only does he lose concentration...he starts to smirk and giggle!! I don't get it!
