I'm thinking of surpirising FI by getting a grooms cake with the Notre Dame logo and doing our cake cutting to the Notre Dame fight song. Is that a good idea or should I go with something else and has someone ever seen a picture of this. And for you girls who know Notre Dame - isn't Brady Quinn such a cutie!

I think that's a great idea! I'm doing a grooms cake for my FH in the shape of Fenway Park (he's from Boston, and even though I'm a Yankees fan, I thought this would be a funny little concession to make).
FH and I met at Boston College, so we're walking in to the BC fight song.
I think it's such a great idea to incorporate things like that into the wedding.
FM me if you know of a good bakery that does this type of thing b/c I've been having a little trouble finding a bakery that will make green icing!

I'll probably go to Audrey's Bakery in Sayville. They are right by my house and I've used them before. They are also the bakery that my hall uses.

I'm getting a groom's cake of Shea Stadium. As an avid Yankee fan, I had to swallow a lot of pride, but, I know he'll love it, so that's all that matters. I think the Notre Dame idea is fab!!!
