Now, how do I pack this thing for trip to Long Island?

Typical van, two seats in front and middle, with third long seat, and area behind the long seat for suitcases, etc. I already reserved the third long seat for Debi's Gown, Donna's gown, and three tuxes!!! We will have our 30 yr. old Son,Ben, in one of the middle two seats, leaving the second seat and back suitcase area for stuff. We probably will have three suitcases,; I also have two large Sterilite containers with oot buckets, one less deep container of bubbles, and I'll have three baskets, and 6 delicate ribbons. I'm sure we'll want to take some kind of cooler thing too. Any good organizers out there??? Mary MOB

I see you have roof racks. I would put the suitcases, plastic containers and anything else that is sturdy (except the dress and your son) on there if you could. Just tie them a million times in every direction and they'll stay.

also - ANYTHING that is a liquid or powder - wrap in a plastic baggie. I tend to pack our body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste & deodorant all in glad bags - because if they explode for ANY reason....everything could be ruined!

Yea, get a 'big mac' or just pile it on under a trap and tie it down. Will save you so much room!
