Am I getting too late for my thank yous???

Should I have sent them out already?

I sent them out within a week for my e-party gifts and my shower, but I am crazy busy and with all the summer holiday stuff, I have been slcaking - please tell me I have not reached faux paus yet...

Don't be paranoid. I got thank yous anywhere from 3 months to almost 2 years... and i am still waiting on a thank you from a friend who got married in 2002.

You are not late at all. I understand about wanting to get them out quickly, I feel the same way.

I went to a wedding in Feb 05 and didn't get a thank you until Dec. 05, i also didn't get a shower thank you until like Nov. 05 from the same person from their Jan. shower.

I got married in May and I don't think I am crappy for not sending the Thanks Yous yet. They are all ready to go, just waiting for my labels to arrive so I don't have to write out all of the return addresses.

i don't think you're late, but i suppose each person has their own opinion. I had someone ask TWICE where their thank you was (who does that?) a week and a half after a gift was given.

i never paid attention to when i got a thank you - as long as i got one

but now i know not to judge ANYONE! my cousin got married in September and because of problems with her photographer ( first with getting proofs and then with the thank yous) she got her thank you pictures in JUNE!!! and it was not her fault at all!

so now i definitely cut busy new wives some slack because sometimes you just cant control it!
