Now that I am a FREE woman, any good book recommendations?????

I haven't read a book for the sake of reading something I was interested in since the SUMMER, thanks to my busy work/college schedule. Can anyone recommend some good reads to me????? TIA!

I just read Size 12 is not fat and the sequel, Size 14 is not either. Meg Cabot. They are quick, light, fun. Exactly what I wanted after finishing my thesis.

Thanks for the recommendation. Are there any books out there now that are high-demand books? What I mean is, remember when Devil Wears Prada came out???? That was a craze......well, anything like that now?

If there is, I'm blissfully unaware. I usually will find a good book, then read everything that the author has out. AndRecky's recommendations were good, once I read those I read all Emily Giffin's books. The next one is 'Babyproof' but it doesn't have the same characters as the other too.

I found Meg Cabot and am on her 3rd book.

If you want a little more substantial book, The Memory Keepers Daughter is fantastic.

I waited like 6 months for the same reason! Babyproof, if anything has a more mature lead character (Like Something Borrowed) and it was actually more of a rewarding ending.

Enjoy!

Ooh, I read all of Emily Giffin's books back to back in probably less than a month. I loved all of them! Even though Baby Proof was different characters I liked it as well. But, the first two I absolutely loved! Did you say her next book is coming out the 13th? I didn't realize...I feel like I've been waiting forever.

Have you ever read anything by Adriana Trigianni? My friend introduced me to her books too. After reading her first, I read a couple of others. Then I finally got to her 'Stone Gap' series and could not put them down! I can't wait for her next book to come out either!
