NRC, FH, CHCC, WM brides. Where did you book hotels for OOT guests?

Original post by marymoon

Any ideas. Distance, pricing?

I really want to be able to shuttle guests..so I'd like to pick one hotel that can suit everyone, or two that are close together! TIA

I'm at NRC...we didn't book it yet, but we will be booking Sheraton Four Points in Plainview (I think). Everyone I know who has either used them or stayed there after the wedding has said it was great (the word on the street is that the hotel bar stays open as long as your guests are drinking there)

Holiday Inn in Plainview, 3 miles from Crest Hollow. No shuttle, rooms were 129.00 for guests suite for us was 189.00. Bar will stay open as long as there are people there-band & dj on saturday nights...HTH

I'm getting married at Woodbury Country Club (up the street from FH), and we blocked rooms off at the Huntington Hilton.

ETA - our rate is $149 for a standard room

Our wedding is at the Watermill, we booked:
Holiday Inn Express 631/348-1400 holidayhauppaugehotel.com

They offer a shuttle service free of charge to the Cocktail hour and back home after the reception. Thing to remember, they only leave once and return once, so everyone has to leave at the same time.
