I really do want to go with JT but the late start is killing me also im a lil worried about the ramps for my mom (shes in a wheelchair)

This is why I didn't book JT. The ramps were something I didn't want my guests dealing with....They're pretty steep. and in addition, every time one of my guests in a wheelchair needed to use the restrooms they would have to come get a bridal attendant to escort them...

Now, to JTs credit they were going to give me an extra bridal attendant (three) for this purpose alone, but my friends are pretty independent and I didn't want to inconvenience them.

I had more than one wheelchair though, if I just had one it may have been different... because I love the inside of the JT.

DH's grandmother was in a wheelchair at our wedding. I could've sworn a year ago they were working on this. From what i know she had no problems.

what is going to be your minimum?

so is using half the skylight room your only option? its the lowest level anyways so better off for you.

I don't know i say go with your gut. Just bc i got married at JT and they did an amazing job, doesnt mean i'll push it on somebody else. Theres still many great halls out there, i dont feel like mine is the only one hahaha. If another hall is giving you more for your money and more flexible with you then i'd go with that. But i'd also go with the place you can envision yourself getting married at. Making you and your FH can write a pro and con list for both places.

Re: NRC or JT

It is such a hard decision and I don't blame you for stressing out about it a little bit. I am a JT and FH really fell in love with it because of the food so I just went with the flow. I am so happy we booked there though because I have heard nothing but good about the food and that is very important to me.

The time of the cocktail hour is really late! I wouldn't be able to do that eiter. Because of this, we changed our day to Saturday and we are spending about an extra $25 per person. I just told my FH sign away and didn't look!

Don't settle for anything less than what you want. Change the date if you have to. I found being flexible with my date really helped in getting the time I wanted. Our cocktail hour is starting at 6. The thing with JT is that you can rest assured that the food is yummy! (Can't comment on the other place - don't know anything about it)

Good luck! Hope it works out for you!
