NRC questions-please help!!:)

I didn't book the NRC, but it was one of my top choices. I was given a price for a Friday in April of 80 dollars but when I told them another place had quoted me 75, they dropped the price. I had told the woman I met with that I wanted a pasta dish served before the salad during the reception and she threw that in. I think a Saturday was 90 a person in April... hope this helps a bit.

I'm not NRC - but I can tell you that you usually tip the maitre d' $1 per person at the reception. If he's really good - you give him $2.

NRC questions-please help!!:)

I am October 2002 bride and to tell you the truth I have not even thought about the tipping yet. Additional tipping was not a factor in my decision because no matter where I go I will probably give the same tips. I am paying less than $90pp (before tax and tip) for a Saturday night in October with a lot thrown in but I also booked last summer (and there was lots of construction going on)! I would assume the price should be higher now because it now looks a lot different than when I booked last year (I went with my gut that the promises that they made all came true - - It did). So not sure if I am the best judge. What are they quoting you...I am curious what they are charging now? what are you unsure about?
