This Sunday is a baby shower for one of our groomsmens wives. I'm not very close to her but this is one of fhs bestfriend. I stopped by the Carter's store and got a bunch of outfits that total $50.
Should I get something else or is that enough?

I think thats very generous and more than enough, but if you feel like you should give something else then maybe check her registry for something small and throw that in as well. Have fun at the baby shower!

I personally think thats plenty. I usually make a diaper cake that totals between $50-$75. If you don't think its enough... get a book..like your favorite one from childhood and throw that in there. I ALWAYS include a book... I usually make it the card :)

I think that's enough and I love katielynn's idea of getting a book you loved as a kid if you think you need to add more.

I think you've spent plenty!
I recently went to a baby shower where instead of a card they wanted you to write a message to the baby in your favorite childhood book. Love it!!

Books were always my favorite 'toy' when I was younger and the fact that actual books are becoming obsolete legitimately breaks my heart. Like when Borders went out of business.... I cried.

Harold and the Purple Crayon is usually my go-to 'card' book :)

Me too! When I was younger and I went to the mall with my mom and she told me I wasn't going to get anything I always asked for a book. She couldn't say no and I got something new to read!
I feel the same. I love my ereader just because I can now carry 300 books with me but I still love the smell of books and actually having one in my hands.
I think it's ridiculous that neither of the malls that are close to my house have a book store in them.

Love that book!!

I always sign a book instead of a card bc cards go in the garbage and books are kept for years.
